## Platform Overview

MillworkFab is a business operating platform and ERP being built for millwork, cabinet, and architectural woodwork shops. It brings estimating, customer access, order management, shop drawings and approvals, production routing and work orders, shop floor tracking, sheet goods, lumber and hardware, purchasing, delivery and installation, equipment maintenance, communications, scheduling, files, people, time and payroll, accounting, and approvals into one company system, so the same project, piece, material, person, and financial history can be followed from the first estimate to the final install.

### Customer operations

From the first estimate to the final install, everyone sees the latest customer, project, and job.

- **Estimating and CRM:** Capture leads and bid requests, manage customers, contractors, and projects, build estimates from your own materials, labour, and finishes, track follow-ups, and turn an accepted estimate into an order without entering it again.
- **Products and pricing:** Define cabinets, casework, doors, mouldings, and custom pieces with their options, dimensions, species, finishes, hardware, cut lists, and the operations each one runs through. The same definition drives estimating, purchasing, and the shop floor.
